Isma thinks of her uncle's house and a picture of Karamat Lone. Isma had learned from her grandmother that Karamat Lone had been cruel to their family. Isma now thinks how much Eamonn looks like Karamat. She also thinks of a picture of Eamonn she had seen before and how she had laughed at his Muslim name being given an Anglicized spelling.
