Adolf Hitler is the best known as leader of the German military and the man responsible for the program that killed some six million Jews, he was born the son of a dictatorial father and a loving but ineffectual mother. He was one of several children though the only one of his mother's sons to survive to adulthood. Hitler's anti-Semetic views were not evident in his early life. The rumors that he might have had Jewish blood were discredited by the author of this book. As a very young boy, Hitler was liked by his classmates and enjoyed school.
