In the Book of Deuteronomy, Moses commands his people to love God and keep his Commandments. He instructs them to remind their children and descendants of God's miracles, their journey, and their years in the wilderness..... a time in which the Lord cared for their every need and guided them to safety.

Moses tells the people that adherence to these commands will be rewarded with rains to grow the crops, opulent harvests, and lush pastures.
