What does Henry promise York in the play, King Henry VI, Part 3?

Knowing that his claim to the throne is weak, Henry entails the crown to York and to his heirs "forever," on one condition.... that he be allowed to remain king during his lifetime, and that the Wars of the Roses be ended.
