Why does Phillip reverse the surgery?

After the surgery, Klim's glands increasingly take over Sharik's body. The more Sharij changes, the more Philip detests detests him. Sharikov eventually grows completely out of control, stealing, lying, killing cats, and constantly disobeying Philip. Thus, Philip decides to reverse the surgery, and the surgery marks the end of Sharikov and the resurrection of Sharik.
