Who is Micah Hale from Hawaii and what is their importance?

Micah is Abner and Jerusha Hale's son. After Jerusha's death, Micah and his brothers and sister return to America, where Micah attends college and graduates from Yale before becoming a minister. Yearning for a warmer climate, Micah moves to Hawaii, meeting and marrying Malama in his way to the island. While in Hawaii, he takes an active interest in government and serves as an advisor to the King. Micah hears about the impending revolution from his nephew and eventually organizes the new government.
