What is Paige thinking after she believes Max is dead?

Paige is convinced that God is punishing her for some wrong she committed. Paige has always believed that her mother leaving was her fault, that being with Jake was a sin, that the abortion was her ticket to hell. To have Max appear dead, Paige believes this is her punishment for all that has happened in her life.
