What does the private detective hired by Paige discover about May's whereabouts?

Eddie Savoy, the private detective, has found Paige's mother. May left town under the name of Lily Rubens, a young woman for whom May had written an obituary three days before she left. From there, May went to Wyoming and worked for a Wild West show. Five years later, May ran off with one of the cowboys with some money they had stolen from the show. From there, May moved to Washington DC, then to Rockville, Maryland, and then to Farleyville, North Carolina. Eddie even found evidence that May had returned to Chicago the day of Paige's high school graduation, though no one recalled seeing her.
