The point of view of this book is both the third-person omniscient and the first-person. The purpose of the narrator is to describe the setting in which each chapter takes place and to describe the appearance and emotions of each character. By having an omniscient narrator, the reader learns of the unspoken thoughts of the characters, as well as a clear image of where the story takes place and what the characters look like.

The use of first person gives each character a voice. Through the dialogue in the story, one gets a sense of the various characters' personalities and motives. This enhances the emotions felt by the reader regarding the characters and the plot. The first-person perspective allows the reader to grow attached to various characters throughout the story.

By using both the first-person and third-person omniscient points of view, the reader gets a clear picture of the story as it unfolds. These points of view work well together to make the characters memorable and the story engaging.
