Describe how the little men that Gulliver encounters seem to treat him. Are they afraid of him? Why or why not?

Gulliver is much bigger than the little men so they take the precaution of tying him up. Some of the men seem very scared and begin shooting arrows at him. Although they seem afraid, they make it known that they will feed and care for him.
