What is the theme in Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton?

Another theme is betrayal. There is a great deal of betrayal that takes place in "Guilty Pleasures." The first episode involves the incident at the very beginning of the book, when Anita's boss betrays her requirements for obtaining clients. Anita specifically tells Bert that she does not work with vampires, yet Bert betrays Anita's wishes by setting up the meeting with Willie McCoy.
