Why does Harry make the decision to pursue the Nightmare into the graveyard alone, instead of waiting for Michael?

Harry is outside the store, debating whether to go after the Nightmare or go back and find Michael, but hears Charity scream. Harry decides he doesn't have time to lose and decides to go after the Nightmare alone.
