What happens when Bianca's armed guards fire at Harry?

Bianca surrounds herself with human guards armed with machine guns. When she orders them to fire on Harry, he creates a shield that deflects the bullets, some of which ricochet and injure the men. His wizard's magic cause the guns to jam and malfunction and the guards, seeing that their only weapons are useless, drop them and run.
