What does Michael come to tell Harry, in Chapter 9?

Michael shows up at Harry's door in the morning, in Chapter 9, to tell Harry that he received call from Father Forthill. Lydia went to the church for refuge, as Harry instructed her to do, but after dark, something came for her. It wasn't able to get to her inside the church, but it destroyed the church grounds in frustration. Shortly after, Father Forthill went to check Lydia, but she disappeared and the church's back door was open.
