What is the setting of Graceling by Kristin Cashore?

The setting of the book is the land of the seven kingdoms. It is an imaginary setting defined by a medieval level of European technology of horse riding, arrows and stone dwellings. The main feature that separates this magical land from reality is the existence of a fairly large number of people with Graced powers.
