Devi is a fearsome, beautiful, eighteen-armed Goddess. She is the incarnation of Iswara, the Ultimate god, and she is created by the trinity of Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva in order to defeat the demon Mahisha. She is the primordial foe of evil, and in each of her eighteen hands, she wields a different weapon. When she was created by the trinity, they all prayed intensely to the Highest Source for help, and Grace descended in the form of emanations from the face of each god. She wears robes of blood red, wears a sparkling crown, and rides a fearsome lion.
