What is Jekwu?

Jekwu symbolizes the miraculous. When the baby is first born, the village declares him cursed. However, Ijeoma is desperate to save the baby, and sneaks into the forest to feed him. His survival is a miracle to the village and ultimately brings them hope and peace.
