What metaphors are used in God in the Dock; Essays on Theology and Ethics by C. S. Lewis?

In Essay 23, Must Our Image of God Go?, the author covers the sense in which Christians anthropomorphize Scripture.... that it is not so literalist as the Bishop of Woolwich supposes. The Bishop of Woolwich, however, also in the metaphorical direction, supposing Jesus to be merely a "window" into the divine reality.
