Ben travels to Perth, Australia as a senior registrar during his residency. While there, one of his first patients is a young woman, who is suffering with a brain tumor. Though the senior doctors on the staff do not think his request to do surgery on the young woman using the microscopic process will be successful, they approve his plans, and the surgery, much to their surprise, is a complete success.
