Giants in the Earth
How is the Hansa's family caravan described in the novel, Giants in the Earth?
.
.
The Hansa family is traveling in a wagon pulled by a team of oxen. The author describes this wagon as falling apart and not really resembling a wagon since the family's accident. The first wagon also pulls a second wagon. On these wagons are all of the family's worldly possessions. Their cow, Rosie, follows behind the wagons, and she is an important part of the family's food store. Beret, Anna Marie, and Hans Kristian ride in the first wagon, while Per and Ola walk ahead of the wagon as leaders.
