Ghost is a young adult novel by Jason Reynolds in which seventh-grader Castle "Ghost" Cranshaw trains for his youth track team while seeking to better his life despite his current circumstances in the inner city. Ghost deals with important and critical themes ranging from the idea that family can be both a blessing and a curse to the understanding that life is not about running from what you are, but running toward what you want to be.
