Who is Terese from Geography Club and what is their importance?

Terese is a high school soccer player. She met Min at Girl Scout camp. Terese is a tomboy so she dresses and acts more like a boy than a girl. Since they met in Girl Scout camp, Terese and Min have been girlfriends. They have also been secretly meeting in an abandoned warehouse in town to have sex with each other. Terese is one of the founding members of the Geography Club, but breaks up with Min when Min insists on voting Brian Bund in as a member.
