Really need a good summary for Jameson's chapter, "Beyond the Cave," in "Ideologies of Theory."

In Beyond the Cave Jameson is trying to decide if art is autonomous or not. He explains that in order to be art people must look at it or read it, so the art must be able to be understood by the masses. However in order to stand alone above all other art forms it must be different. The art needs to raise above the others and yet still appeal to everyone. This is what makes art, art.
