What is the setting of Four Major Plays by Henrik Ibsen?

All four plays are set at the time in which they were written - the late 1800's, a period of staggering industrial and economic transformation, social and political unrest (the rise of labor and socialism, the simultaneous death of aristocracy), and moral/intellectual exploration.
