Significance of The United States of America

The United States of America is the world's lone superpower nation, located in the Western Hemisphere of the globe. Predominantly Christian, but drawing on the joint Judeo-Christian religious tradition, the United States is a land that has long been a refuge for Jews. The United States has long been a staunch friend and ally of the nation of Israel, being the first nation in the world to recognize Israel's existence following Israel's declaration of independence. John Hagee worries the United States has grown too morally corrupt for its good, and warns the United States not only to wake up and shape up morally and spiritually, but to continue to protect and defend Israel, for God will bless whoever blesses Israel.
