The book is made up of almost-constant dialog. While it offers an effective way of showing the characters, there are times when the dialog itself becomes almost repetitious. For example, Travize and Bliss argue continually about the pros and cons of Gaia. While those arguments show the nature of the characters, it is sometimes tedious to go through yet another of their arguments with neither side striking a definitive chord.
