Who is Lasken (Jo-Jo) Joranum from Forward the Foundation and what is their importance?

Lasken (Jo-Jo) Joranum is demagogic, 42-year-old politician born in the Mycogen Sector of Trantor, Joranum claims to hail from the obscure planet Nishaya, lest his message of social justice and political equality for all be laughed at by the masses who consider Mycogenian religion ridiculous. His claim that "Government is the people" (pg. 10) is a ploy that generates great popular support, but will end when he succeeds in replacing Eto Demerzel as First Minister and gains control of the weak Emperor Cleon I.
