Who is Isabel

Isabel is Curzon’s love interest. At the beginning of the novel she had rescued Curzon from Bridewell Prison. Because she realizes Curzon is not going to take her to find her sister, Isabel sneaks away from Curzon one night. Curzon describes Isabel as being pigheaded and stubborn, but having an “unshakable courage that was worthy of a general.”
