What happens to Abbey in Chapter ten?

Abbey was gone. Her window was open and she was gone. It wasn't a kidnapper Noah said, trying to calm his mother. A kidnapper wouldn't have carefully opened the screen and set it against the wall. He figured where she had probably gone but he kept it to himself.
