Renee was Joan's most dominant personality. She was also one of the first personalities to understand that there were other personalities present. Renee is described as outgoing.... in charge. When the "Flock" was being treated by Lynn, Renee often became argumentative. The two later forged what we would consider a relationship similar to that of a mother and daughter during the teenage years.
