What does Letch do to deal with his neighbor’s annoying dog?

Letch initially tries to convince the neighbor to give her dog to the neighbor kids, as it would get more attention and would not bark as often. When she refuses, he begins peeing on the dog’s favorite tree, so the neighbor has to take him out multiple times in the middle of the night.
