Who is Michael Fury from Finding the Dream and what is their importance?

Michael Fury is Laura's husband. He is described as having lives a nomadic lifestlye, during which time, he was a merchant marine, mercenary, race car driver, and a Hollywood stuntman. Michael now has a horse business in which he buys and trains horses to sell.

Michael has always had a crush Laura but didn't believe himself good enough. After expresses his desire to become her lover, Laura gives in to his overtures, and they become lovers.

When Josh confronts Michael and tells him to leave his sister alone, Michael is determined to end their relationship. However, Laura does not take the end well. Laura goes to the cliffs to think about what Michael has said and an earthquake causes her to fall over the edge. Michael saves her, proving to everyone that he loves her. Laura confronts him and Michael eventually relents, asking Laura to marry him.
