What is Akira's room like in the novel, Fifty Words For Rain?

Akira has a spacious room with large windows and an impressive king-sized bed with plum-colored drapes. There are two bedside lamps. On top of the mahogany dresser are sheets of white paper with curvy black markings. A cardboard box is on the floor that appears to be half unpacked. Against a desk is a black case.
