What is the Coyote's Maw in the novel, Fevered Star?

The Coyote's Maw (most often referred to as simply the Maw) is Naranpa and Denaochi's childhood home. While Naranpa became the Sun Priest, Denaochi changed from an indentured courtesan to one of the powerful Maw bosses. The Maw is where Naranpa wakes up after being revived from the dead and is forced to crawl out of the catacombs to prove that she wants to live. This is also where she goes to try and reunite Tova against the crow god. Ultimately, Denaochi dies in a meeting within his own business saving Naranpa.
