Why is Titus uneasy around Violet?

He wants her to return to normal. He knows Violet is dying, but he does not want to face that. He thinks Violet is beginning to sound like the protesters he sees on occasion, and he hates that. While he doesn't want to make her angry, he also doesn't like being around her anymore.
