Who is Violet from Feed and what is their importance?

Violet is Titus' love interest. The first time he sees her.... he is immediately smitten. Unlike Titus, Violet spent her her seven years without the feed. She learned how to read and write and is quite intelligent. Violet slowly loses her life as a result of the hacker.
