Who is Leo Sen in the novel, Fates and Furies?

Leo Sen is the man who wrote an opera that helped Lotto heal from an accident. Lotto asked Leo to collaborate on an opera with him, but the music Leo created wasn't right for the project. Leo drowned off an island in Nova Scotia.
