Curt is a homeless boy who has a keen sense of humor, an incredible talent for music, and a prescription drug addiction. He sees potential in Troy even when others don't. Constantly on the lookout for food and a place to grab some sleep for a few hours, this character latches onto Troy, inviting himself to his home. He doesn't really know how to fit in at the dinner table, and he is brutally honest when questioned about his home and job situation. He is very creative, as shown by his ability to help Troy get some style both in his dressing and in his room decor. He also sees the world differently from others, boiling actions and emotions down to their true essence. When he sings onstage, he transforms from a street bum into a vibrant character that can tap into the souls of everyone in the club. While he is a good friend who really sees people, this character is not reliable. He is also afraid to get too close to others so that he doesn't have to get rejected by them.
