Describe Papa's personality.

Papa is a spoiled eldest son from Samurai class. He comes to America headstrong and arrogant. He does not do well in the camps. He does not protect his family and is often drunk. He causes a lot of problems in the camp and for his family. We watch his personality deteriorate in the camps. He feels a lack of identity and humiliation. Papa turns to drink and becomes abusive to his wife.
