On the day Fanny and Troy are to be married, Fanny mistakes the name of the church where they are to meet. Fanny goes to All Souls’ Church instead of All Saints’ Church, and the mistake causes an hour’s delay. When she arrives at the correct church, Troy feels humiliated and stomps off.
