Who is Claire?

Claire is Maya's girlfriend and one of her greatest supports. Maya texts Claire whenever she is in need of comfort and support. When Claire is unable to text Maya back immediately during Maya's parent's divorce, Maya becomes anxious and feels alone. Maya's inability to express her emotions pushes her to breakup with Claire. Claire thinks that the breakup happens because Maya is unwilling to talk about what really bothers her and her family issues. She believes that Maya is afraid that if she finds out about what is really going on with her mother, that Claire will leave her. '
