How is the theme of family bonds depicted within the scene when Mr. Badger and Mr. Fox sing a song on their way back to the Fox family's home?

The theme of family bonds is depicted quite clearly in the scene when Mr. Fox, Mr. Badger, and one Small Fox are returning to the home of the Fox family in order to partake in a great feast. At one point, Mr. Fox sings out a little song about his wife, calling her his "beautiful bride" (73). In response, Mr. Badger adds a verse, singing about his wife's deep hunger and how pleased she will be when she has a bit of cider. The two characters' affection for their wives is clearly demonstrated in this scene.
