What is the setting of Fallout by Ellen Hopkins?

The novel is set in three different locations. Hunter lives in Reno, NV near his family home. Autumn lives in San Antonio, Texas with her aunt and grandfather. Summer lives in California. All three settings are simply a backdrop to the main themes of the novel. In fact, the setting only becomes important when all three of the narrators end up in Nevada at the same time.
