What is Sausages

The sausages are symbols of abuse. Each day before the prisoners are sent out for play, they are fed sausages for breakfast. This play is actually abusive because it is preparation for the Fair One in which the prisoners will be expected to fight each other to the death in a bracketed competition. The prisoners often return from these play sessions bruised and bloody because they are required to practice these fights.
