How does Grandma convince Thomas to marry her in My Feelings?

In My Feelings, Grandma tells of how she meets Thomas at a bakery and he writes that he cannot speak. He asks her to model for his sculpting. She does naked and he has sex with her. A week later, she proposes and he says "yes," but no children. They never speak German again.
