How does the author use foreshadowing in Extras?

In Part II, we learn that Aya desired fame and the acceptance of famous people like Tally Youngblood. As Aya finds herself being kidnapped by the very people she thought Tally would have protected her from, she comes to believe that Tally is not the person she thought she was. This foreshadows a lack of trust between the two girls.
