Everything Under
In "Beyond the Stump," what does Gretel say about the corpse at the morgue?
.
.
When Gretel goes to the morgue to see if a corpse is her mother, she realizes that the body is not her mother's body. The woman's hair is the same color, and there is something about the lines around her eyes and mouth that resemble Gretel's mother. The woman, however, did not have Sarah's broad nose. In addition, the birthmark on the woman's shoulder was not the same color as the birthmark on Gretel's mother's shoulder.
