Importance of Neah

Neah is a character in “Hot-Air Balloon.” She is the daughter of Haitian immigrants. She recently dropped out of college in Florida. She then traveled to Haiti to work for a non-profit organization that helps women in need. Neah feels a sense of deep purpose helping the women, many of whom have suffered horrific trauma. However, Neah’s father eventually speaks to Neah’s supervisor, and the supervisor forces Neah to return to school.
