Importance of Darline and Paris

Darline and Paris are characters form “Without Inspection.” They are Haitian immigrants living in Miami. Darline’s husband drowned while trying to travel from Haiti to Florida by boat. Darline then fell in love with Arnold after they met. They moved in together, and Arnold became a surrogate father to Paris.
