Who is Olin?

Olin is a character in “Room 1408.” He is the general manager of the Dolphin Hotel who believes that Room 1408 in his hotel is possessed by some sort of paranormal spirit. He tries to convince Mike not to spend the night in the room, but is unable to do so.
